@Likos65 It's hard for me to understand how bands from that era like Spandau Ballet and Simple Minds went from being completely hip and innovative to square and bland in just a year or so. Was it the fame? the coke? greed? just not giving a damn? all the above?? Fortunately I know enough great 80s music to know that that was not way it unfolded for everybody then, but it was pretty common.

I was 2 in 1981 and I remember this! It's that Simmons drum beat and the brass that makes this song, I've got the 45 with the instrumental only on the B side.
Love this tune. Always have. Reminds me of my days as a young man in my twenties during the 80s. There used to be this club on the N side of Chicago, Cabaret Metro that played this music and videos along with it. I remember seeing it and dancing to it there. Thx for the memories! It was great seeing the original vid. I still remember it
