I was told if you draw a line or circle on a pice of paper with a Bic Pen termites will follow it. Something in the ink acts as a pheromone. I was unlucky enough to have termites at my business so I put one to good science use. Enjoy!

There is a volatile compound in the pen ink that resembles a pheromone that termites deposit to help guide their hivemates to food sources. What's especially cool is this volatile soaks though the paper, so you can turn the paper over and the termite will still follow the circle even though you can't see it
