I suppose you could say this is a fan video to a book I recently read; 'Impulse & Initiative' by Abigail Reynolds. It's a Pride & Prejudice variation and beautifully done- I highly suggest it! :)
This video, with music by Sanctus Real, tells the inside story of our beloved Mr. Darcy. One of the things that caught my attention while reading 'I & I' was the history of Fitzwilliam and the hardships he faced growing up (the death of his parents and the ill relationship he had with his father, the upbringing of his younger sister, Georgiana, the inheritance and responsibility of the Pemberley estate...) These afflictions have hardened his outer shell and give the appearance of a cold and arrogant man.
But inside, he is shy and struggling and after meeting Elizabeth, wants to open up to her.
He wants her to understand him for who he really is and that having her in his life has been the brightest, most joyous light he has seen in a long time.
Elizabeth is his backbone and he is slipping without her.

Great job! I love this song and movie, they go so well together!
I think the man who plays Darcy also plays a character in Mansfeild Park.

Wonderful job!! - It's amazing how well the two go together. It's especially moving at the 0:55 part. You can actually FEEL the emotion he's going through. :)
