Absolutely brilliant version. You guys obviously enjoyed playing it. Nice smile shared at the end. Lovely picking Going on in there. Gave it almost a country feel. Can't Stop playing it. 10/10

Thank you for your comments. Have you heard my solo version on banjitar? Certainly the tempo and alternating bass rhythm makes this rendition have a traveling country feel, that is very different from Muddy's original monotonic bass recording. Have you heard Muddy's "Plantation Recordings" CD? An excellent source or early rural Blues. Enjoy

Loved this just as much as when you played it on banjo ( I think it is atleast). Allways looking forward to these. :)

Keep on keeping on Keni Lee!

Thank you for your comment. Bill and I were playing guitar last Friday night working on some new songs when Bill started talking about the Muddy Waters / Johnny Winter duet of this song. He said that Johnny was just backing up Muddy with a simple strong rhythm. So we decided to record it. I am glad to hear you are enjoying our performances. We appreciate your continued interest and comments. Enjoy.

Thank you for recommending my CD and your comments. Bill is not only a very talented solo artist himself, but also a great sideman. He will definitely make you sound better. Have you checked out his new CD, Bluer Than You? It is available on cdbaby by searching: bill helferich

Jackie and I also appear on it. If you enjoyed my CD, Good & Evil, I am sure you will find his CD a real treat too. Enjoy.

I hope you've listened to "Good & Evil".

They got in a bunch of very cool and varied talent for that album.

I believe that any time you can fill out your sound with additional dimension and texture, it's a good thing. I think it's important to tip a hat to Mr. Helferich for his solid backup playing to help free you up for more of the melody/lead work. Too often the rythm guitar and bassist(if there is one) don't get their to recognition.

Thank you for your suggestion. I believe I heard his rendition, but I will check it out again. He is a wonderful musician. We could definitely benefit from a harmonica player too. Enjoy.

Have you ever heard Harry Manx do this one? There's actually a recording of him live at the Glenn Gould Studio doing this one, and there's a fantastic instrumental solo in the middle of it performed by the session harp player Steve Marriner that's worth checking out.
