Al-Shabab maintains grip on Somali port city - 21 Dec 08

Ethiopia has said it is preparing to pull its forces out of Somalia, after providing assistance to the country's fragile transitional government.

But there are fears that if Ethiopian troops leave, the capital Mogadishu will fall and opposition fighters, including al-Shabab, will take over the country.

Al-Shabab already control most of the south, including the port city of Kismayo. Mohammed Adow reports from the city as part of his exclusive series on the group.

Al Shabab must be killed. The masterminding must be eradicated as this is only possible to limit this threat of wahabism in east africa. Al shabab are shitheads but takin them out wont make difference. There will always be sadly an excuse for fighting. This Islamist groups are only new to somalia. Al-Shabaab anyway helps the youth but i believe they just illitrate they dont know where to start .(.waxkasto aayaa iskiiga qasan) I strongly disagree with the killing and torturing , I think they humiliate people just to gain respect and to scare of people..but they should think straight and fix these Moriyans in different tactic instead of of killing. as we all know KILLING is haram, May allah have mercy on SOMALIA ameen!
