This is a project I've worked on casually for the last couple of months. These are MIDIs that I limited to the capabilities of GYM played back in the Ultimate Megadrive Soundfont. I did not do every song, but I did most of them. I mainly did the ones I liked the best. For the most part, I think these covers turned out very well.

This is just about the only cover I did that I'm not terribly thrilled with although I didn't like the song that much to begin with.

No, Super Nintendo is an inferior machine that can only produce fisher price sounding tracks. It takes the power of BLAST PROCESSING to achieve the sound quality of GYM.

  • @ClashManDX That's because everything made with the SNES sound chip sounds comical. i.e. a fucking JOKE. LOL

    GENESIS DOES WHAT SUPERNINTENDONT

  • While I do like the original version, this remix sounds less comical and more threatening. Like the name suggests it's going to be a Violent Showdown. Good Job!

  • Nice job!

  • can you do that GYM rendering with super nintendo?

  • Double win. Mega Man and Bass is my favorite Rockman/Mega Man game, and I've played some classic Genesis games(Sonic trilogy, Streets of Rage, Altered Beast, Dynamite Headdy, E-SWAT)
