This is footage of a debate between two teachers at Grossmont College who have conflicting ideologies. It was part of our political/economy week activities. The topic was supposed to be the economy but the format was loose. Who do you think won?

yes, those guys like bush and all the people on wall street are paying a lower tax percentage because they are investing long term on the stock market and the tax rate is 15%. but its not the percentage itself, it's the percentage of WHAT amount. those guys are paying vastly amounts of more money than the middle and lower class. they are paying roughly over 7 million a year in taxes if not more. I HATE LIBERALS. the only way to fix our country is to get a conservative president

The difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals hate America and conservatives love America. Seriously, can you honestly say that Obama, Pelosi and Harry Reid love this country? They are always talking bad about our country. The only way a liberal could love America is if we adopted the policies of Karl Marx (he's the god of the liberals). @Skandalos Your really wrong. You're more likely to be conservative if your a bigot, white, male, and christian. I am young but I work and make money. I don't have any govt. help. I am married with kids and I have lived through more than most. I consider myself mostly liberal...moderate on some things. I just don't feel the need to impose my beliefs on others...and I believe in being fair.

@Skandalos the fact that the con in this video is younger than the lib is a testament to how wrong you are.Whether you&me wld like to think otherwise,people identify with political ideologies because of the family they grew up in.

You become conservative with life experience, and Im talking of life experience OUTSIDE the state-protected glasshouse that protects you from most hard ships, using money that is earned in real life outside that glasshouse.

So, if youre young, live with your parents, or still go to university, or you work in a government job, or a government protected branch, chances are you are a liberal because you probably never experienced what life really means. Being liberal is just being immature.

I would define myself as a conservative Republican, in both social and economic issues, but I think most people are morons, who can't run their own life and like childeren that over indulge themselves, and try to live like there is no tomorrow, need some type of governmental over sight, to make sure they don't become a burden to the rest of society, by limiting how much damage they can do to themselves, why should a poor person on welfare with 7 kids , for example,be allowed to have more kids?
