I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard being human sometimes, we get stuck in so many roles, there are so many facets to the self, that we don't get to exercise them all the time. It's healthy for you to have a "normal" relationship for a 21 year-old. Maybe you can find a friend who understands that you want to NOT be a wife and mom all the time, and will promise never to ask or pry.... :)

I feel the same way but for completely different reasons.
I don't condone lying but I do think some people don't understand the difference between lying to hurt someone and lying for other reasons. There is a big difference. Everyone deserves a second chance. Maybe not a third always.. but a second for sure.

i dont get it. why there is such a big issue of dishonesty. it's not like you lied and said you were single...is it? raising a child is a huge undertaking. it's only natural that you need other outlets too. what is good for you is good for your family...it is a really big deal with friends...i still feel sad about a friend i "lost" recently. i'm sure she still cares about me but she is in a relationship that is exclusive so we dont hang out anymore. : [
