@neveah45 And when they slept together at the motel Philip made her no promises. And had told her earlier that day he still loved Stephanie. Melanie knew what she was getting into and made a choice. She wasn't dumped...they were not a couple. They had sex that was all. She just inadvertently became what she didnt want to be...rebound and comfort. He didnt plan for that, but his fiance came back. What else could he do but get back together with Stephanie?

@neveah45 the reason why Philip was so rash is that he has been in this position before...dumped for the "good guy" he let his old wounds cloud his judgment and lead him to drink and bang Chloe. He thought Melanie was leaving him. I personally think harboring love feelings for another man all the while u are married is far worse. But I think love is bigger than sex. It depends on your perspective.

@slyn11 What he did is worse though. She didn't cheat: bottom line. He has done her wrong too many times. I'm Phelanie all the way, but just three months before Philip proposed in '09, he slept with her and dumped her the next morning for evil gross Stephanie. Philip has yanked her around alot. Melanie yanked him around some back, but she chose Philip and was firm in her decision. Philip cheated the first time they had a problem and lied for months. Big difference imo.

@karmelscream Carly did it with Sony when Sam got pregnant on GH but Jason step in and that started 1 of the most amazing & special S/L I ever seen on Soaps..I dont Believe Philip is the father of Parker but Mel will find out she is pregnant & run 2 Nathan and than miscarry. Melanie forgiven Philip 4 hurting her a lot, over the yrs but cuz her father involve, Not Cuz of Nathan, I think it will take a lot 4 her 2 stand by him but the love she shown Phil is hard 2 dismiss especially Compare 2 Nath

Girl I am right there with your babbles. I want the same things. It would make a much more interesting story to have them deal with it all, then have Melanie cut and run. And you are right...I hope they remember WHY Philip turned to Chloe. I know we women tend to stick up for each other, but Melanie really hurt him and I don't think what she did should be taken lightly. My theories on this whole thing have changed a bit after watching the Chloe/Mel scene on 8/3/10 and becuz of Carly

that women is your stepmom has got to hurt on some level. just watching all this mess i hope they dont forget why phil turned to chloe in the first place. because there are no innocent  party in this. boy what an imagination phil i hope it doesnt happen that way but the way mel react to something then yeah it might happen exactly like that. but i hoping that the writer has matured mel just a little bit to be able to handle this situation by being there for phil and also supporting her father to

but they could end you in a great if they can make it through together. somehow i think thing are about to get a little sticky from here on out. i guess i can stop hoping that dan is the father because the was the SL is going that baby is definitely phil. for once i would like for a women to still with phil when the going get tough and not just bail on the first sign of trouble, or just to stand by him. i know that the fact that your husband is having a baby with another women and not to mention
