  • hey,

this song was written by my grandfather. His name was William Hollett. Just wanted to say that you have done a really good job, and I really enjoyed listening to it. I know that he would have been proud if he could have listened to it.

  • i'm like a child in awe when i hear your beautiful, moving & enchanting newfoundland melody and watch the wonderful scenery that you give us with such a nicely put together video. thank you so much for uplifting my spirits. your music is pure magic.

  • @Rhawneld57 Sorry Ron, you have the wrong John. This is sung by John Drakes of Coombs Cove, living in Nova Scotia now and plays with Lukey's Boat. The Johnny Drake you refer too has passed away several years ago and sang such great songs as Heading Home

  • This was beautiful and I have always liked NFLD. Music. John was a great artist and you could just hear that when he sang. I am sure by thoes who knew him in person were some of the luckiest people alive. RIP John. You will be missed.
