African Cichlid 55 gallon fish tank

This is my 55 gallon fish tank that i have put a lot of work into. I have 1 snow white socofoli, 2 Labidochromis caeruleus, 2 Labidochromis hongi, 1 red zebra, 1 Tropheus moori, 1 frontosa, 1 turquoise jewel, 2 common plecs (hiding), one syno (hiding), and 3 cichlids unknown that i got from a friend. I know the quality is bad, but it was done on my webcam from my laptop.

Also, music is "Amanda" by Luca Gussella and Andrea Dulbecco

Why are my cichlids always hiding when i get to close :(????

@DilluCichlid I get the problem sometimes. It can be many reasons: they're naturally shy, they feel insecure in their environment due to lack of hiding or maybe too few fish, and they'll hide if tank is in a high traffic area. How long have you had them? If not long, it may just need some time for them to adjust to the new tank.

where do you get the big white stone? i have 55 gallons i need alots of rocks

@3000carriers I got them at a local aquarium and fish store. The fish really love them and go in and out of them all day. I personally love the look as well. You aren't just limited to the type I have though; I have texas holey rock, but you can also buy slate and other such rocks. Also, one tip: I struggled with algae for the longest time and in the end forfeited to buying a common pleco. I am glad I did because every single rock has remained bone white, keeping a very pleasing look.

@damafiafz I have seen it done but I wouldn't do it myself they have dif
