Arsenal are awesome again
Absolutely Fabregas...
"I think - and this is aimed at my dear manager - one shouldn't humiliate players for too long. It's possible that some day I'll feel like talking about the whole issue."
With Arsenal sitting pretty two points clear at the top of the Premier League, and maximum points in the Champions League without having conceded a single goal, Jens Lehman might well feel humiliated.
But not because he's been dropped for the equally calamitous Manuel Almunia. Instead because he seems to be completely unaware that no one cares about the bitter, miserable German being axed from the team.
Demonstrating a similar single-minded selfishness to a certain recently-substituted Scouser, he continues to moan despite the fact that his omission is clearly benefiting his side.
And how. Even the most optimistic Gooner couldn't have expected such a success post-Henry, but with Fabregas, Van Persie and Adebayor they have a side capable of counter-attacking quicker than a Californian wildfire, as demonstrated for their sixth goal in the 7-0 demolition of Slavia Prague, taking only five passes to get from their own box to goal.
It would seem 'The Invincibles' of 2004 are back. Only this time they're younger, slicker and they actually smile when they score. You just have to feel for the Spurs fans...
