japan had or has a white gamecube controller (i'm not sure if they still sell them). They're fucking expensive as all hell on Amazon and playasia if you want to buy one imported from there. Just saying
Also Gamestop has 3rd party controllers that aren't bad either. I think this is one of the consoles in where 3rd party controllers aren't bad. I had a mad catz micron controller that was tiny as fuck and it worked fine and was comfortable
