@pashtunistan85 persians are originally from south Iran, from the Fars province to persian gulf. Majority of us are sunnis (Original persian areas). As I said before we persians have ben mixed with non-aryan races like elamites who used to be original inhabits of southern Iran before we settled down there.. that's why we are generally darker then pashtons, kurds and other people in north. Baloch's have also some elamite blood. Some (Minorety) of us also have african genes, cause of slavery.

If your research your history, bactrians, sogdians, scythians, medes, sakas and Parthians were all aryan (Iranic) people who once formed a great nation which covered big portions of Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asia, also Pakistan. That's why original persian folkloric music and dresses in south eastern Iran is very similiar to Afghanistan, We are basically SAME!

@pashtunistan85 My dear, this is the way how the persians,parthians, sistanis(sakas) danced and played music in past. Sorna and Dohol have always been part of ancient persian musical culture, aswell how they dress in relation to this video. During the time of Ismail Shah of Safawiah (Safavidian dynasti) about 478 years ago many people were forced to convert from suni to Shiaism. Now many of us iranians are loosing our culture, but I have to say that u afghans keeping our original culture!
