Don't protest demonstrate n dont' day-dream that tomorrow US is gonna bring Democracy to Burma and even their liberty statue to be placed at our Burmese port.. NO WAY!!! To:seinpan2007- I don't agree with some of your analogy. Burmese military began with characteristic of Japanese Imperialism but it was over half century ago. Since October 1988 Burmese junta had been trained by the Singapore's Arm Forces along with supplied of an arms. Also you are not giving enough credit to Burmese by creditting British for their discipline. Burmese are entitle to the credit they rightfully deserve.

by the way, daw su kyi was a scholar as well but she was moved by the events of 88. it was just our luck that she stopped investments from the west for our country. now she as well as all of us are going nowhere. wish us the best for future.
