j was there at that time and the guy took his time getting out of that subway doors.

I remember once at St. Andrew Station where it took almost a minute from the initial closing chimes to whe the subway finally left the station, because so many people tried getting in after the driver was about to close the door. The doors closed and reopened about 4 times.

I am only referring to the TTC. Of course ATC is in use in some transit systems, however, not yet in Toronto.

@rygiy56 Are you talking about the whole world or just this video? Because some subways do have automatic trains, like in Copenhagen or some lines in Paris' metro.

All the trains as of April 2011 are controlled by an onboard driver and doorman. Although an ATC (Automatic Train Control) system is slowly being implemented, none of the revenue trains are currently operated in this manner.
