If your don't know Italian, make sure to phonetically learn the phrase, I am sorry,I don't speak Italian, do you speak English? Then give a big goofy smile. It worked for me in France for 10 days ;-) I only met one rude person the entire trip on my first night and my sis who is a language goddess pretty much took care of him. We walked in the the door at this restaurant and this old grouch yelled, "NO PIZZA FOR YOU" the took us to our seats. It was epic and my sister voule' vou'd him & we left.

you won't be saying "yeah ok" when you're there, trust me. It's absolutely beautiful. Go to Assisi, Italy. Less touristy, more intimate and it's absolutely beautiful. Great gelato, great people and just GREAT in general!! Hope to see a post Italy vid!
