There was many different capacity/machine type classes at this event to ride in, soon after this video was taken, more & more people started using supermoto machines to good effect to the dismay of people riding standard machines & so this class was added. The classes included 250,350,500,1300,unlimited,vin
tage,3 wheeler & supermoto. I rode many events here on many different machines(thats my GSXR parked on the pits corner)-it was good fun & I miss it! -
ok cool man, i didn´t realize that this was in 1992. these motorcycles seem kinda funny, especially that RD crash. i guess it´s in england. why isn´t it taking place anymore, seems like a good idea to race up the hill?

This was in 1992. They use supermotos now. Or they would if this hill was still in use.
I used to have a 1987 Husky 510 with lowered suspension, 18 inch front wheel and road race tyres. Pretty much what would have been used for supermoto if it had existed then.
NHCA champion for 2007 rode an Aprila SXV550.
