I realize it is HBO, but it is rare to hear anyone discussing the origins and evils of the Federal Reserve on TV. He even mentioned Jekyll Island, which you can read more about here: http://www.amazon.com/Creature-Jekyll-Island-Federal-Reserve/dp/0912986212. Kudos to Richard Belzer. Music credits: Pretty Lights

  • Richard Belzer just educated America. Most people do not even know how the fed came to be and what they really are.

  • Bill Maher is a sell out. I can't stand to watch his show anymore.

  • the prof. Auriti did prove that the worth to the money is given by the citizens and not by the print shops (FRB or CEB) therefore they are stealing the money to the citizens when they print it and in additional to that fraud they also lent the stolen money with interest rates.

  • bill maher is a intelligent guy so he knows the facts and whats on, the fact that he always joke when he detects someone telling the truth instead of asking intelligent questions to deepen the subject and i heard him do this alot, specially on 911 inside job questions or when fed subject or anyother that puts on spotlight his boses he jokes and changes subject hes a corporate tool if we fight these banksters they will use all thir muscle against us, they will show their real face and its ugly

  • @leongarza correct but the meeting he referred to was in 1910.

  • 1913 pretty sure is when the Fed started

  • Ooooops! the jews did it again.........

  • @flatwhiteblack You're getting warm.

"expanding the money supply" with paper money uses the exact same process as counterfeiting. Somewhere, somehow, someone is exchanging paper (with no value) for something with value.

What the gold bug people are arguing for is HONESTY.

  • @jeffiek yes, that is also another important point, so actually that makes me think the real question is how expanding or contracting the money supply affects the economy., with paper currency its easy to do that, gold currency its not easy, so maybe that's what gold bug people are really arguing for
