Tenor Choir Practice: " His yoke is easy " , by George Frideric Handel, is from the first part of Handel's Messiah (HWV 56). Part One concerns itself with the prophecy of the coming of the Messiah with the focus on the meaning of Advent and Christmas. The concluding chorus of part one makes reference Matthew 11:30 " For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.".
