In the US it was called The Golden Compass. I simply used the US title because I reckoned I'd have more viewers from the US than from the UK.

So you were hard pressed to find anymore criticisms about Eragon and switched to the Amber Spyglass? Makes sense I suppose. Eragon is a great book, unoriginal yeah, but still a good read.
