Willow Glen 87 Loop 2

Part 2 of a bike ride through Willow Glen, California on a beautiful March afternoon. This is not the most scenic ride, but I was just testing out the camera mount and bicycle.

It's been a loooooong time since I've been home in SJ. I remember commuting on the 87...I also remember the 87 being very "bumpy" on certain parts of the highway...Did that highway ever get repaved?

87 is the project tha never seems to end. It is so popular it has already been widened. It's a smooth ride on the parts I typically use. Now there is offramp and onramp work going on. It has "grown up" to be a real freeway.

I remember as a teenager in the late 80's, the entire 87--actually the Guadalupe area near the Children's Discovery Museum--was all a "swampy" area with tall grass and lots of rocks.
