I agree, the greys have mastered the technological aspects of our universe and have managed to create a mechanical version of the Merkaba field which they use to travel to our plane of existence, and they observe us because they have no concept of love and the light. Only a rotating merkaba field created by a being which utilizes both love and light can truly transcend reality and become One, which is why the greys are frustrated because they have reached an impasse with no right brain thinking

I wonder if the secrets to this craftsmanship was told to these people why hasn't those secrets been passed on through the generations.

I would say misinterpretation. I thnk the same happend with a lot of religions out there. Ancient people like that don't have the sophistication to understand something that can defy gravity, especially when they dont know what gravity is. If you see some1 do a magic trick, one might thnk that its some power they possess that lets them defy physics. when really its just an illusion.
