Barbara West vs. Joe Biden...Awesome Interview

A lesson in journalistic integrity.

WFTV Channel 9's Barbara West puts Joe Biden on the hot seat over ACORN, voter fraud, and Barack Obama's "Spread the wealth" comments, and even asks if Obama is a "Marxist".

Joe Biden was so upset, that he had the Obama campaign cancel an interview the station had scheduled with his wife, Jill, along with all future interviews.

The Orlando Sentinel reports:

"Why did Barack Obama's campaign cancel a WFTV-Channel 9 interview with Jill Biden, wife of Sen. Joe Biden? The campaign cited an unprofessional interview WFTVs Barbara West did Thursday with Joe Biden. In a statement Friday, Adrianne Marsh, Florida spokeswoman for Obamas campaign, said the station, in talking with Sen. Biden, was both combative and woefully uninformed about simple facts. Marsh said Wests insistence that Obama was an organizer for ACORN was 100 percent false. In a line of questioning that would make Rush Limbaugh proud, West even went as far as to quote Karl Marx, a Communist icon, in a disturbing attempt to associate Barack Obama with socialism, Marsh wrote. West said, "I think I asked him some pointed questions... I dont think I was rude or inconsiderate to him."

I guess the new requirement is that if you are a member of the media, you need to be a Democrat...Oh, wait, the majority of the media is. Watch West's interview of McCain yesterday. She was equally tough on him...The difference? McCain hasn't left himself open to questions re. ACORN and socialistic leanings. At least one member of the media still maintains a sense of journalistic integrity to ask the tough questions. Biden was to much of a pussy and took his ball and went home.

Jornalistic integrity? More like desperation and baseless insinuations about close links to ACORN and Karl Marx.

Then she has the balls to say she was tough on McCain. Blondie, please! The toughest question for McCain was something like "how come you're not going after Obama harder on Wright and Ayers."

She is not a journalist. She is a political hack. Her questions to Biden were meant to smear and drag down. Her questions to McCain just showed anguish as to his low poll numbers.

Isnt' Barbra West embrassed that her husband Wade West is a Republican strategist?

And why didn't she mention that? Is is merely dishonest or cowardly? Or an odd combination of both.

When Baraba called Obama a socialist why doesn't she feel that nationalizing the banks under Bush, creating the biggest most powerful government in US history, having entire corporations who derive their entire income from government contracts is socialist?
