Can I say something to the Canadians and Americans arguing over which country is better? Patriotism is retarded. I don't care where you're from, loving a country just because you happened to be born in it is stupid. You can love the freedom you have. You can love your rights. But loving the country for the sake of loving the country is just product loyalty.

As a Chinese Canadian who moved to Hong Kong, and China. I can say that BOTH Canmerica, Americanada, are paradises. PARADISES. stop fighting they're BOTH GREAT. Compared to Hong Kong with a 3dollar an hour wage, and no universal democracy, that politicians have to PUSH FOR, that exist in the American Congress and Canadian Parlament. Both lands are paradises.

I wish I was Canadian.Do you wish you were an American when the recession is still on while Canada has already recovered? Do you want to pay through the nose for healthcare that's very complicated so that it can treat fat Americans (like me)? Do you wish you were American so you can work until you're 70 for stagnant wages and only get one week off a year (on average)? Do you wish you were American when our housing market is bust? We're also not as polite as Canadians..oo busy making a buck.

There is nothing wrong with being proud of where you're from as long as you understand that there are problems (and there always are) with your country and its history.

I'm America, and I fucking love America. It's a wonderful country, and I'm very fortunate to live here (right in Southern California, too, jackpot up in this bitch). But there are many flaws that absolutely do need to be fixed here, no doubt about that.
