You just cant beat the improvements the Italians have come up with over the steppir. I have replaced 5 motors over 5 years with my steppir antenna and I can already see why the ultrabeam is by far the better way to go. If not the ultrabeam, go the whole way and buy an optibeam and that rocks too of course. Sorry Steppir, your days are numbered if you dont improve your design faults. The ehu steppir make is junk compared to ultrabeam, wish i had never bought my problematic steppir

A wonderful copy of the SteppIR antenna. Looks like they went with a more durable outer covering on the fiberglass tubes, and added a little more convenience to the controller, as well as making it modular so you could upgrade your antenna without having to buy a whole new controller.
I'm actually wondering if one of these controllers would be plug and play with a SteppIR antenna. I do prefer the controller shown here... Hm, I wonder how much it would cost for me to find out for sure. ;)
