  • Okay, that is not the ion drum rocker, so what is it and how do you have it hooked up to your game system?

  • It's a little confusing (I still can't believe I did it). I made this before the ion kit came out. It's a plain old Roland set hooked up to an MSA-P device (that I got from highly liquid) that triggers the buttons on the RB1 drum controller that I soldered connections to. I used the extra ports on the MSA-P to toggle the lights by employing automatic closet door light switches (which toggle a 110 volt current directly from the wall outlet in response to a 5 volt trigger from the MSA-P).

  • I think I just had a seizure ;-P

  • Ha! Yeah... The room was better lit than it looks in the video. I guess the camera doesn't pick up as much light.
