Kim Zmeskal performs her optional balance beam routine in the team competition of the 1991 World Championships. She scores a 9.950, the 2nd highest optional beam score of the competition. Along with her compulsory beam score, she qualifies 7th into the event finals. However, teammates Shannon Miller and Betty Okino qualify ahead of her (2nd and 6th respectively), so she is not eligible to compete.

  • her form isen't that great, escpially on her gainer layout her legs are really bent

  • @jaszmina9 i dont really think so, they were good but she didnt have enough power to get the full extension, i think she should of combined a switch leap wolf jump, that would be nice. but u could see on her second switch leap, she didnt get enough height or extension. So i think bela would of took that out to make the routine look nicer, but idk.

  • those switch leaps are so amazing!

  • Man, she was so hot!
