I have the Exped DownMat 7 XS and a Prolite like that one. I also find I don't need a full-size sleeping mat. I put my pack under my legs and feet. I also find I do not need to inflate the Exped DownMat 7 XS as full as you have shown. In fact, I only inflate it to the point lying on my side I do not have my hip bottom-out. I tried it out on the floor at home and, really, that is all I need. The air mattress actually seems "softer" that way. That is my experience.
Looks like a nice pad. We recently got the Big Agnes Insulated Air Core, which is very similar. Ours weights more, and has a little more insulation but the design is very similar, and we have been really impressed by how comfortable these tube-style pads are. Used self-inflating pads for years but these easily beat all but the thickest car camping pads, hands down.
I like the comparison.
