I often feel sorry for the new Metal-generation,cause I bought my 1st tape of music (Metal) in '83, a Deep Purple tape.But at the time, before NWOBHM, there was Sabbath, Rainbow & Venom & Motörhead in Europe :D When we heard Motörhead-Overkill,we thought THIS can never EVER go faster.In 88 I counted bout 12-14 genres,Death Metal had just begun w/ Possessed & Death,but the name of the genre came later.I feel lucky to have followed the evolution of METAL.Happy New Year Motherf***s. The artwork is also very fascinating.
These guys never seemed to get into that punkish Swedish Death sound. They didn't consider Nihilist as much of an Idol to them.
But whatever the case is, this damn stuff is Sweden's finest.
