Does the digital help with radio interference?

The fat ballast is brighter, no doubt. I installed slim balast today and I regret it. Should be taking them out soon.

does the slim ballast make the light less powerfull as well because there is a notable difference between the light on the wall on the first comparison of the analog ballast vs the slim ballast

Thanks for the video! What exactly are you using to power these indoors?

too bad most of the digital ballasts use shitty DC output power which destroys bulbs in no times because of the way the current flows through the bulb burning out one electrode faster then the other. You have to find a ballast that outputs AC power so the bulbs get even where and the power jumps back and forth between the electrodes evenly wearing the bulb properly. Also with crappy digital DC ballasts, you get that light "shaking" or "flickering" effect. everyone look up AC vs DC ballasts!

never heard such unprofessional opinion about digital ballasts. First of all both digital and analog ballasts don't produce "shaking" or "flickering" if they are are not defective.
Second as we already mentioned starting year 2008 we had no single digital ballast exchange nor bulb exchange.

There is no light difference between analog and digital ballast. The difference is that analog ballast gives high power from the beginning and then immediately start to fall down very fast and you can see it in the video. While the digital ballast can control the power output from the beginning by increasing it slowly.
Our statistics show that in 2 year time analog ballasts had 3.5% defect rate and digital 0%! From year 2010 we completely removed analog from our stock and sell only digitals.
