well, when i recorded this I was in 7th grade when i recorded this...i think...been awhile...I started in 6th grade, so i had only been on my 2nd year...I'm starting on my 5th year now...so ya...i learned vibrato on my 4th year cause i had to do OMEA for southmoore this year.

Okay, missjessiedowland, FYI, I did sightread this on a dare to do so and post to see reviews. If you have a problem then why did you even watch when I posted in the title 'practice'? I was in 8th grade then, so no need to say crap like that. And it's extremely rude to cuss just cause you don't like something.

I started playing the oboe 5 months ago, and im about this good. I find it easyer to play the choromatic scale F and not the regular one tho :) Ur really good :D

This is actually really good for a sight reading... I play the oboe as well and every time I sight read and play, it sounds like a dying whale...

thats really good, not crappy at all. If I had to criticize I would say work on the articulation and lengthing of the notes, but thats only in some parts.

I would say that u are considered not bad. The oboe takes great patience and u would need a tutor to guide u and eventually u would improve. I am also an oboe player.
