The black SATA are SATA 3 and not 2

I have it but I am out of town until Jan 12th soooooo I will also get a PCIex4 OCZ SSD to also feature when I make a comparison. I have many games on my Steam account but I will feature BF3 Game play.

@1ongsightboy Nope as it does not have any on-board video it is intended to use only with a dedicated video card.

@peterSTEEZE If you have not used it you cannot know which is best I like ASUS but I will not tell anyone what is better if I have not used either

I have this board on the way and should be here by Dec 17th. Soooo I will compare it to the MSI 990FXA-GD80 Motherboard wich is a Kick ass board SOLID. I will also compare them with the 8150 FX CPU.

@likesm14 Yes you can use a Sata 2 HD on a Sata 3 port. It is backwards compatible.

@motherboardsorg I have a Sata 2 Harddrive, can I connect it to the motherboard although it has only sata 3? sorry for abd english.

@BlueFire240 Yes it will. The NZXT Guardian is a ATX mid-tower case. This board the gigabyte 990fx UD7 is an ATX form factor. They are good to go together.
