  • @indoknowsbest That is incorrect PH's. AAS's are active molecules that dont stimulate anything in the body, most of the time they actaully shut it down. So theyre more like plants that are already growing. And just need a ground to sit in well.

I started boxing when I was seven (Tacoma Boxing Club represent!) and I wrestled grades 6-12.

There are steroids that reduce fat and/or increase lean mass but they aren't Incredible Hulk pills. They just stimulate natural body chemicals that when coupled with intense training improve gains. They're like fertilizer.

They'll improve you no doubt but they won't turn a bum into a world champion. I love boxing but when I was 16 I realized I was never going to win a title.

  • @indoknowsbest Dude do you listen to anything I said? 2 sessions a day of normally up to 2 hours tops. Which= 4 hrs

Dude, just stop talking lol. You baffle me with your naive comments. You havent trained for anything have you. You dont know anything about steroids, as you just proved with that response that all they do is allow you to recover faster. Which still isnt nearly 100% true. Im literally astonished at your inability to use common sense to draw conclusions lol. This is pointless.

How is bodybuilding a sport? There's no opponent. Golf and baseball are sports. Driving ranges and batting cages aren't.

I've known bodybuilders and I know that it's very difficult but how many bodybuilders could last 10 rounds at their local boxing gym? They aren't athletes. They're showpieces for muscle. Size means nothing when it come at the expense of speed, agility and explosiveness.

  • @bigarmyrob

An hour of pad work isn't the same as an intensive, hour-long cardiovascular conditioning routine. Rolling is a great cardio workout, but even then it's a different animal than a straight up cardio session.

Who works out 4 hours, straight, a day? Like I said it's impossible (unless you're a genetic freak.) Maybe you work out for an hour, then carbo load/take a nap, and come back and work for another hour. But 4 hours straight of intense training?

  • @indoknowsbest MMA fighters train twice a day, they have no other jobs( professionals; for the most part) Whether they split is boxing/ JJ wresting/ jj etc and so on. You are showing, with every post. the lack of knowledge you really have. BB'ing not a sport? Are you serious? Do you know anything about ANY type of training lol? 8 hours? Maybe 4 hours a day tops. Im not even gonna debate this anymore ha. Your a keyboard warrior, who has a huge lack of knowledge. About anything so far, good job :)

  • @bigarmyrob

    I agree about steroids.

The biggest misconception about roids is that they turn you into a superhero. They allow you to recover faster so you can train harder and longer, but they won't turn a slug into Usain Bolt or a stick into Bo Jackson. Josh Barnett and Tim Sylvia are perfect examples of that.

Your body type and athletic potential are determined by genetics. Real life isn't like Limitless. Miracle pills that make you bigger, stronger and faster don't exist.

I don't think Jay Cutler is a good comparison. He doesn't train like a mixed martial artist. Bodybuilders aren't athletes. I'm sure Mir does something everyday but I very much doubt he's doing multiple, intensive cardio routines every single day. His body would break down very quickly. Martial artists might spend eight hours a day in the gym, but they aren't working out hard that entire time. It's impossible.

  • @bigarmyrob

Mir put on, at the most, ten pounds of lean mass. He weighed 245 (at the lowest BF% of his career) for the second Lesnar fight after an intense training camp, which means he walked around at 255-260 off diet.

Considering Mir was a guy who had a reputation for dragging his feet in training ala BJ Penn it isn't hard to fathom he put on a few pounds of lean mass while undergoing an extremely intensive strength and conditioning program (for the first time in his career.)

  • @bigarmyrob That he maintained this high weight lol. Cmon, dont be naive, I guess Allistair Overeem did it all natural with Horse meat too, didnt he? Cmon get real bro, youre acting like a foolish child with these responses. I dont care that they use them, I think they hould be allowed to. We pay for super human, and above averages peoples performances. So the best way to do it, is be super human. Most likely the people who acuse you of steroids, dont know shit about them.
