I like mine. If your horse has trouble getting blanketed, try practicing putting it on and taking it off several times in a row at feed times so he associates blanketing with something good, like food.

Thanks, I find your video's very useful. Was that first blanket a weatherbeeta? I have just brought a horse who is terrified of having his blankets put on and off. He's been blanketed for 2 years now and is ok with having them on. Its just the putting on and removal process he doesn't like.

@Kimmyloca0 Thanks for the kind words. Repetition usually helps. Did your horse have a mishap while blanketed, like running away while being blanketed and having the blanket partly on so it "chased" him as he was trying to run away from it? Try having some kind of treats, like carrots or "horse cookies" to give to him each time you blanket him. Then, he begins to associate blanketing with good things.
