Major Republican Leaders Announce Creation of Republicans for Lynch Steering Committee

Citing Gov. Lynch's strong and steady leadership, bipartisan approach and fiscal responsibility, prominent Republicans from across New Hampshire came together to announce the formation of the Republicans for Lynch steering committee.

Bonnie Newman, who served in the administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, will serve with Maiola as the co-chair of Republicans for Lynch.

In tough economic times, Gov. Lynch has cut spending, balanced the budget, kept New Hampshire taxes the lowest in the nation and delivered a budget surplus.

As Governor Lynch has brought Democrats and Republicans together to pass among the toughest laws in the nation to protect children from sexual predators; to pass an innovative plan that has cut New Hampshire's dropout rate in half; to pass New Hampshire Working, which is helping companies keep workers on the job and making it easier to hire new workers; to reinstate the Job Training Fund; to pass a major reform of New Hampshire's Corrections system to reduce costs and improve public safety; to pass legislation that is helping families and businesses reduce their energy use; and to pass legislation that is spurring the construction of new renewable energy plants.
