Hard Hands indeed it is! Just after Ray Barretto's release of the "Acid" album comes this one. I was very pleased when this album was re-issued sound quality wise. Is this song salsa? Not quite. In fact, it is has many variations of latin genres such as Mozambique, Mambo, and Bembe. This is one of my conga playing warm-up songs and you'd hear just exactly why. Ray Barretto's tones on the congas can best be heard through this album. This video has the cover arts that came with the cd. I fully remastered the audio further for excellent sound quality.
