Although it may seem a bit pricey for a bit of material, Buff headwear is one of the most useful pieces of gear I own. Versatile, durable, and easy to clean, Buffs have kept me comfy in the frigid mountains of the Himalayas and the sweltering jungles of Thailand.

If you're trying to save money, beware of cheap knock-offs that look similar but are not nearly as high quality. Hunt for sales online and at your local outdoor stores.

For something that you'll be wearing all-day, everyday, you owe it to yourself to shell out the extra cash and buy a quality piece of gear that you'll use for a lifetime.
Get yourself a Buff...'cause you can't have mine:)

For some of the different ways to wear a Buff check out these videos:

  • Where is this side bar on the right you speak of. Ahha there it is youtube is stupid and moved it bellow. Great video I have one its awesome.

  • Awesome presentation man! I loved the video because of it!

A while back, I got a monochrome black buff for everyday use. I've always liked wearing scarfs on my head, but the knots would keep coming undone and I hated it! Sure buffs can't imitate some ways of wearing a scarf, but they can do a million things scarfs can't :D

After a few months of wearing and loving it, I got some more buffs to add some variety. With buffs utility meets comfort... and they look good too!

    I <3 all my buffs :D

  • You guys should check out my review on the buff.I have the limited edition survivor china ones with other buffs. And they come out of santa rosa in California.I used to live there!

  • It would only be a counterfeit if they were passing it off as a Buff(tm). You can't counterfeit a tube, nor can I see anything morally reprehensible in making them, as , for instance, I do not see anything morally reprehensible about making zipper fly pants.

Perhaps "knockoff" is the word you were looking for.

  • nice review. got myself a buff last week even though it's summer but my head is so damn large the normal face masks and balaclavas don't fit. feels like microfiber and really soft. i got the wool buff since it won't stink up from sweat or spit

  • @ sepruda

I do similar if ur in the the middle of nowere u wet the buff run a bar of soap around it wet it again ring it out then rinse it's better 4 the enviorment

  • You shouldn't wash out soap in rivers.
