Freedom's watch Ad basically tries to portrait them as the only supporters of the troops, therefore saying that if you don't support them, YOU ARE UNAMERICAN. I agree with the message of thanking our troops, but not the organization.

For going over and invading innocent peaceful countries and murdering the innocent civilians?

Victory to the Iraqi freedom fighters and to the Taliban for defending their homelands against the evil American empire and her troops.

I'll thank the defenders and I won't thank the invaders.

While I disdain the war in Iraq, I do agree that the soldiers need material support. Yes, their efforts may be for a dubious cause, but think about it. Many of these soldiers have no access to everyday goods such as shampoo and clean clothes. Same goes for many of their families, most of whom come from working-class or poor backgrounds.  Don't be against the soldiers, be against the war.

@SweetPlague Thank you for serving. However, I'm sorry. I'll disagree with you on if you and your fellow troops are heroes or not. You were willing to go. You went. You make me proud. I count you as a hero. Thank you for giving up so much for all of us. I count my thanks toward the allies as well.

You know what folks? Whether you agree with the war on a political level or not, supporting our troops is a whole other matter. The kids bleeding and giving their lives over there don't have one little say in what the politicians do. They signed up for good and honorable reasons. I salute every single one of them...whether they fight in the sand or mountains, whether they're on a ship or in the air or even on American soil.
