I have a pair of sound edge 400's that I have had since I can remember (got my first drumset when I was 3). Unfortunately, the top cymbal is getting a mean crack in it :(. I guess you can't complain about a cymbal only lasting 20 some odd years though

i've the ride 22" Paiste 400 and the sound is't good

play in an wind orchestra at my local music center and that cymbals i use every week are the paiste 400 hi hat crash/ride and crash. they bound brilliant

Haha.. awesome.. those babies are getting rare. Paiste have always been pretty good with entry level cymbals, but I'm still impressed. These go back to 86-89.. they were the predecessors of the 502s (kind of), which lay slightly below pst5 . They DID make a sound edge model (I've seen one, at least), but it's really rare.
