  • @lizziekerr yeah, this song is actually the b-side of 'Judge Not', as for the group, they had at least three names before deciding on The Wailing Wailers

  • I'm pretty sure the wailers were actually formed by this point, they just hadn't coined the name yet. Bob and Bunny had learnt to play the guitar together as they were childhood friends, and met tosh before this was recorded. But your right, this is just bob without bunny or peter.

  • To clear things up this was from before the wailers were formed. Bob, or 'Nesta' as he was called then, approached a producer named Lesli Kong with and sang for him. Kong got some musicians to compose a rhythm for it and Nesta recorded this song and 'Judge not'.

He didn't know anyone who owned a phonograph so he spent most of the money he made playing 'Judge not' on a jukebox over and over and watching peoples reactions.

He also recorded 'one cup of coffee' and 'terror' with Kong.

  • @Streetzisdeathrow This is not the Wailing Wailers, but Bob Marley as a solo artist in 1962. A year before the Wailers became in extistence. From the same session: ''Judge Not'', ''One cup of coffee'' and the lost track ''Terror''.

  • @Bsharpp2 this was Bob marley, when they were the "The wailing wailers" this was the second song the wailing wailers recorded the first was "judge not" but rest assured this is indeed mr Marley in his youth

  • he pasado muucho tiempo buscando esta cancion :D .. Thank you!

  • Thats not Bob-Bunny OrPeter, not Junior....Wailers. It sound more like Monty Morrsa/Carley Orginare!

  • @mariomarley30091988 makes one wonder why this song didn`t make it onto the Songs of Freedom compilation
