RBO - Fun in Arena mode.

I got bored and felt like doing something to relieve the boredom... so I went and made this.




These are my alternate characters so I can keep char data clean. If you can survive watching it, kudos to you.

awesoem, do u start out as a novice or you chose u want ot be and ur that like swordsman archer etc

You have to beat the game with the other classes first before you get to be a novice.

if you said that then the novice must be a super novice. What you said is confusing because a novice is the weakest class in Ragnarok but Supernovice aint

Nah, those are normal novices in RBO. They're more of a "for fun" class and have weak normal attacks as well as low HP/SP. But it;s when you put enough points into certain stats, you unlock their special moves.

Oh and I <3 Using Novices in RO. Novices for high rates and supers for low rates are fun.

But I beat with 3 charaters and nothing ocurred. Why?

It depends on which Ex version you're using. Also, it has to be three different characters beating dracula. Though, if you beat it with just two in Ex 1, then the rest will be unlocked. It's how I gave myself a preview of attack patterns for characters like the novice.

@siekensou77 novices have a huge dmg attack called miss attack...where you need ur novice to attack but attacking behind it using the forward strong in the air. its the only decent attack u got without losing hp. at 28...yes doing that kinda dmg with the miss attack is perfectly normal. but as u can see there are other attaks that do big dmg...they just cost a bucket load of hp. this person knows how to allocate the stats properly

technically you only need Expansion 1, but its highly suggested that you get Expansions 2 and 3 as well, because there's an english patch (for those who cant read japanese) for Expansion 3 that makes game play much easier.

I'm an Agi thief btw, that's my main character. I can't get the hang of a mage on RBO though, I have trouble getting through the first and second stages even...which is gonna make it hard for me to get the novices.

You need A LOT of luck for that kind of critical... And the killing speed of the thief for 1st stage is still slow though :P.

Mage gives the best yield of exp out of those spores, that's why mage is preferred over other class. Of course you can always go with Magnum Break, Envenom, Luna Buster Lariat. Mammomite is not spammable, though, and Luna Buster Lariat requires more skill to keep them up.

You seem to really know how to use a novice, good job mate. F-Novices are always insane and some say they are cooler than M-Novices. Plus they're kawaiish.
