thanks for the awesome review

Good review and very helpfull ~ Though I personaly need to find out if the recorder is suitable for loud bandrepetitions. I would of liked an example of music recording from the "field". But I do understand, that it's probably not a really accessabel thing to include in a review.

@LivingInEnvy If quality isn't as much of a concern then no, the SX712 isn't important for you. What you're paying more for are the (2) higher quality microphones among other things, and if you are talking about stereo vs mono recording, I don't think you will have an issue with picking up on the PX312. What I found works better for me is stereo recording over mono-recording because it helps me feel like it was 'live' vs some radio broadcast, which helps keep me interested and focused in study

@moophoto I was going to get a cheaper one since quality isn't entirely a major thing for me was the Sony ICD-PX312. But it doesn't have surround sound so I'll have to keep re-directing it if they keep moving around or if it a large group discussion.
Hi, because my English is not good, I don't know if you mention this on your video. Is this product suitable for recording concert? I want it to record concerts, in concert halls or other concert venues. Is this right for this occasion or i will hear disturbing noises and the singer's voice will be terrible?

@aerasstapania Hi! It will provide decent results for concert venues given the size and price of the unit. No, I would not expect to get professional results but I think you will be satisfied.

Is this recorder any good for connecting to a camcorder directly???

@MrShaz2cool That depends... which camcorder are you connecting it to? You may need a beachtek adapter in place to get the most out of it. There are better choices though.
