Boy/Girl Salon Look A Loc Tutorial

Hey everyone this is a more complicated loc tut for all my loc stars out there. The key to execution of this style is patience and uniformity. It took me 1 hour to completely twist up my hair, another 30 minutes to roll, and about 2 hours drying time. So do this style when you have a little time on your hands! Peace

how do you get the twists so tight? it works when I do mini rows in the front but when i try to do my whole head they unravel. is it just patience?

@MsIslandSpice patience is key, but also make sure you are only working with ONE row at a time, and not grabbing more then that. As you hold the starting twisted portion firmly with one hand, the other hand is wrapping the loc thru the root area, and pulling tightly. Similare to lacing a shoe... Pull tightly and hold before you go on to wrap again. Continue and your dominant twisting hand should never leave your scalp area to keep twist secure. hope that helps sis

Where did you buy the lock loops from? What is the difference between lock loops curls and pipe cleaner curls.?

Great tutorial. Love the style. Will try it when my hair is loc'ed better and I can spray water on it without fizzing into a poof ball.
