Thomas Schütte Retrospective at Reina Sofia Madrid

It offers visitors a detailed insight into his work. The works on display span from Thomas Schüttes early works in the late 1970s to his latest creations. The show features little-known works as well as well-known ones such as the series of sculptures entitled Frauen (Women). The exhibition has been curated by Lynne Cooke and presents installations, sculptures, watercolors, etchings, photographs, and architectural models.

@wood2323 The video indeed is great, it captures the show pretty good. But when visiting the exhibition, I was somehow impressed by the size of the show, but it also left me cold. Maybe too rational, too little emotional?

The video is indead, 'excellent as always' but , the work is empty, and not in a good way.

Well,at least, that is my, not so humble, openion.

How long will the art world put up with this dea that reductive abstraction is a fresh concept?
