  • Joe "Fingers" Carr was a pseudonym for Lou Busch. Mr. Busch was an A&R man at Capitol records. (See Wikipedia entry for Lou Busch). Among his many musical endeavors, he formed a ragtime band and recorded a couple of albums for Capitol, and I recognize the playing style of some of the musicians on this recording as the same as on the ragtime albums. They probably were players in the Capitol stable. I wish I knew their names.

  • :-)))))))

  • I always wanted to listen to this song with a Fez on my head ù.ù

  • @SteelerY360Nation Mine to! :D

  • Does ANYBODY out there have ANY information at all on the band here, "80 Drums Around the World"? They have a couple of tracks in the Ultra-Lounge series, but that's all anybody seems to know. The biggest Tiki music fans I've talked to are all stumped on this, and I never got any answers back from Capitol Records when I've written to them. I wonder if the name was just a studio pseudonym for some randomly assembled session musicians. Oh well, it seems to be an eternal mystery!

  • Excellent!!
