  • With the rise of China as an economic super power and the reemergence of Russia into the international stage I would go to say the US's days as global hegemon are limited.

  • Of course you must be correct. There is no greed or coercion in Europe, South America or Asia.

  • Yeah, Furguson would undoubtedly have been one of those "sound as the pound" types prior to Suez, had he been 50 years older.

  • @TumisHumis 300 years ago you ancestors- the founders of your country- were Europeans. were they no man?

  • @anglekan Greed is good, pal. I'd rather live in South America than most Asian/European countries. I don't need a ceiling above me, and i don't need a floor below me. I'm a Man, not a European.

  • @pgarza12

Give Russias demographic crisis and a troubled disgruntled youth i'd say they have a much difficult task ahead of them in order to back onto the world stage

  • @ClarksonsinUSA Where are they over 50% in western Europe. I'm from London and would be interested to know. thanks

  • It's not the great depression. It's the great transformation. America will morph and reemerge even stronger, better, and is always changing. Protect yourself in this change. We are just changing our way of life but not our life. Big house, big car, big debt is obsolete. We are all learning. Default on debt, then rock on.

  • @anglekan what are you smoking?????

The tax rates in western Europe are over 50%,the cost of living in Europe is 3 to 5 times higher .

Europe's working class is squeezed to the breaking point...How do I know this just got back from there...

  • @TennMan2020 South america has greed. But asia and europe have NONE!!!! you would have to look for it with a microscope. they run economies and societies the way it should be run.

  • this IS the end

  • I just read his book "The Ascent of Money". Wonderful tome. He has done a lot of research. I learnt a lot from it. Erudite fellow.
