im in b comm/eco hehe

How will these changes effect my plans of transferring from the B of Eco course to the B of Comm course?

The BEc first-year core has six required courses (one of which is ACCT 1a), so ACCT 1b can be accommodated as an elective in the first year. The economics (double) major requires six courses beyond the core, and the student needs to take two General Education courses.

The study requirements for a UNSW B Commerce or B Economics graduate with an Accounting major wishing to enrol in the CA program are currently:
*Accounting and Financial Management 1A
*Accounting and Financial Management 1B
*Corporate Financial Reporting and Analysis
*Issues in Financial Reporting and Analysis

If I was to do only a single B Economics degree at UNSW in 2010, does the restructuring of the course, and the subsequent removal on "Accounting & Financial Management 1B" from the core units affect my ability to do an Accounting major and later enrol in the CA Program?
Im currently finishing my 1st year in BComm/Economics. Im wondering if it is possible for me to do a mathematics/statistics major for my economics major (maybe I need to do additional cores?)

The ASB Student Office has informed us that students who enrolled in 2009 or earlier will not be allowed to follow the new 2010 program. You should contact them for further clarification.

This adds up to15 courses (including first-year core, Econ major, ACCT 1b and GenEds), leaving nine additional ACCT courses that can be included in the program. six of these courses are sufficient for the accounting major, leaving three that can be used towards CA requirements. For information beyond this, you must check with the School of Accounting.
