painful to hear them be called "soviets". for the first time dinamo riga have changed their soviet jerseys to the new ones with the Latvian symbol of independence - the morning star together with the then still banned flag of the free Latvia. a moving moment yet the ignorant commentators still call them soviets. even if it wasn't almost the fall of the soviet union, what would be so hard about calling them just Latvians? as the USA's offical position was at that time. oh, well, long time ago.
