This lady rocked the scene, her and big brother pushed at the boundries of sound in the 60's - they did shit no one had every heard before. No one had heard a voice like this. Watch the version of this song at the monterey film fest - she blew mama cass AWAY. Janis's musical talent came from her soul, it pours from her body. No one since can compare. I was born in the 80's doesn't take a genius to see this... wtf is wrong with people? Our society is fucked. My daughter is taught better

So what if she'd be in her sixties now (see comment)! It doesn't mean Janis had to go so soon--artists can rock in their sixties, if they want to continue performing. I'm sure she'd have made a lot of people happy if she'd been around a bit longer. Her passing was a tragedy.

I was complimenting both singers when I made this statement Now seeing you are tearing Amy apart let's see the negs on JJ. Raspy voice, half the time was speaking more than singing, Used the f bomb more than Amy. when she forgot the words she used nananana's. Amy was a singer and entertainer. Janis' vocal range is SO much more impressive. Have you watched amy's live "performances"?!
